Hélène Villars is a medical doctor, geriatrician at the Toulouse University Hospital in France. She is PHD student in Public health in the field of 'Aging and neurodegenerative disease' . She has expertise in Non Pharmacological Intervention for Alzheimer's patients and their caregivers, such as Therapeutic Education and caregiver support and counselling.



Physician Geriatrician at the Toulouse University Hospital, head of a Geriatric Day Care Hospital. She earned an MD degree in Geriatrics, a degree in Patient Education and is currently finishing is PhD in Public Health. Her topic of research is non pharmacological interventions -such as educational interventions- adressed to the dyad (patient/caregivers) in Alzheimer’s disease. Member of the French Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology.
